Press Release: Unleashing Musical Mayhem – Circus Rhapsody Takes the Stage!
Prepare yourself for an electrifying sound experience when German sensation Circus
Rhapsody storm the stage with their genre-bending blend of ska, punk and rock’n’roll.
Circus Rhapsody from Berlin are not just a band, they are a tumultuous carnival of
sounds on a rollercoaster ride through their unique musical landscape, thrilling the
audience and leaving them wanting more. With infectious energy, the right amount of
cotton candy and a fearless fusion of genres, they create an atmosphere that defies
expectations, where the circus family meets chaos and celebrates the unexpected.
In 2024, Circus Rhapsody release their first live album „Live In San Diego“ with the
Californian label Mannequin Vanity Records. It was recorded at The Holding Company in
San Diego during their 2023 summer tour.
In 2021, the band has signed with Californian label Mannequin Vanity Records.
Together, they release the album Just Kidding in June of 2021. Running publicity will be
Melanie Kaye PR (formerly of Fat Wreck Chords Canada).
For the physical release the band works together with Berlin based Coretex who do the
distribution in Europe.
In 2024 Circus Rhapsody celebrated their 500th concert. Performances took place with
Deichkind, Less Than Jake, Donots, Mutabor, New Model Army, Nekromantix und Jaya
the Cat. Whether at a festival, small club or large hall – the four friendly music maniacs
put on their very own frenetic show in every possible location.
For their 2018 tour the band supported the community 7 ” Sexxxy as fuck! Yummie as
hell! released through the London label ‘Umlaut Records’. It contains guest appearances
by: Ingo (Donots), CJ Ramone, Steven (Belvedere), Pat (The Decline), and many more.
Also, in cooperation with ‘Elixier Gin’, the first own band Schnäps has appeared.
The previous album Telling Horrorstories has been available in stores worldwide since
2015 – in Europe via the Berlin label “Springstoff” and in Mexico via “Living Dead
Records”.
In 2013 the debut album Pacific Playland was released in DIY style and enjoyed
moderate local and regional success.

Circusabend mit Zuckerwatte!
Berlin trifft auf Folk Punk: Erleben Sie Circus Rhapsody so wild und
energiegeladen wie nie zuvor! Die Berliner Band verbindet rasante
Punkrhythmen, mitreißende Folk-Melodien und eine gehörige Prise Wahnsinn zu
einer unvergesslichen Bühnenshow. Ein Spektakel, das die rohe Kraft des
Punkrocks mit der ausgelassenen Lebensfreude des Folk vereint. Von den
Underground-Clubs Europas über große Festivalbühnen bis hin zu Tourneen in
den USA haben Circus Rhapsody bereits unzählige Fans in ihren Bann gezogen
– und hinterlassen überall tanzende, singende und völlig ausgelassene
Menschen.
2024 kommt das erste Live-Album der Band ‚Live in San Diego‘ über das
kalifornische Label Mannequin Vanity Records raus. Aufgenommen wurde es in
The Holding Company in San Diego während der 2023 Sommer Tour.
2021 unterschreibt die Band einen Plattenvertrag beim kalifornischen Label
Mannequin Vanity Records. Zusammen bringen sie das Album Just Kidding im
Juni 2021 auf den Markt.
Für die Promotion des Albums ist Melanie Kaye PR verantwortlich (ehemalig Fat
Wreck Canada). Zusammen mit dem Berliner Coretex wird das Album
physikalisch veröffentlicht.
2019 feiern Circus Rhapsody ihr fünfhundertstes Konzert. Dabei standen schon
Auftritte mit Bands wie Deichkind, Less Than Jake, Donots, Mutabor, New Model
Army, Nekromantix und Jaya the Cat auf dem Programm.
Zur 2018 Tour bringt die Band die Gemeinschafts – 7” Sexxxy as fuck! Yummie
as hell! über das londoner Label ‘Umlaut Records’ heraus.
Sie enthält Gastauftritte von: Ingo (Donots), CJ Ramone, Steven (Belvedere), Pat
(The Decline), Filou (Berlin Boom Orchestra) uvm. Des Weiteren erscheint, in
Kooperation mit ‘Elixier Gin’, der erste eigene Band Schnäps.
