MohaviSoul Live Album!

MohaviSoul Release New Album “Live at the 42nd Annual Huck Finn Jubilee”

MVR is pleased to announce the December 18th release of MohaviSoul “Live at the 42nd Annual Huck Finn Jubilee.” This is their fourth album and first live full-length CD by MohaviSoul. Since the formation of MohaviSoul in 2012, Randy Hanson and Mark Miller have established themselves as original songwriters in the bluegrass community. Combining their love for contemporary bluegrass and Americana storytelling, their music falls somewhere between The Steel Drivers, Seldom Scene, Infamous String Dusters, and NewGrass Revival. This Live CD is a soulful American journey of storytelling hallmarked by great melodies, instrumental prowess woven with great harmonies, and blended into original Contemporary Bluegrass & Americana music. This CD also includes three new original songs written by Randy Hanson, Mark Miller, and Orion Boucher as well as a great cover of the Steve Young (Waylon Jennings performed) song Lonesome, On’ry and Mean. This CD showcases the originality of MohaviSoul and their musical ability to equally perform what they record, telling stories and breaking out their upbeat California-style Bluegrass/Americana.

MohaviSoul has had worldwide radio play over the past few years songs from CDs Blue Diesel and Hometown Blues, and is now pushing three new original singles, “More White House Blues”, “Self-Imposed Highs and Lows”, and “Righteous Path” off this new live album from their show at the Huck Finn Jubilee.

MohaviSoul is Mark Miller (guitar, vocals, songwriting), Randy Hanson (mandolin, vocals, songwriting), Orion Boucher (bass, vocals), and Jason Weiss (banjo, vocals) and Dan Sankey (fiddle and vocals).

As well as opening for many national bluegrass acts, MohaviSoul has played at numerous regional and national festivals including: Millpond Music Festival, SummerGrass, Santee Bluegrass Festival, Del Mar Fair, Adams Avenue, Viva Las VeGrass, SDGypsyFest, Temecula Bluegrass Festivals, Far West Folk Alliance, Blythe Bluegrass Festival, and Huck Finn Jubilee.

The Huck Finn show was a packed house at Cucamonga-Guasti Regional Park, Ontario, CA September 27th, 2019, as they shared the stage with other national acts including Railroad Earth and Steep Canyon Rangers. The band is currently booking festivals and headlining dates through 2020. Hometown Blues and this CD are available for download on all the major sites and for DJs at AirPlay Direct for radio distribution.
