BandàBordel is a supergroup comprised of members of two groups: BandàpArt (Bedarieux, France) and QUEL BORDEL! (San Diego, CA) the majority of which have been touring together since 2011. On stage this 8+ member franco-american supergroup throws a party while playing a unique brand of folkpunk meshed together with other world influences — an entertaining international musical collaboration only brought about years of friendship and collective experience.
Last Summer BandàBordel performed at many notable festivals in Europe including: Festibaloche (France), Festivale Au Coin De La Vigne (France) & Highmatland Festival (Germany). In 2018 BandàpArt returned to the US to play the Sea World Seven Sea’s Festival and did a small run of dates in Southern California to prepare for the upcoming BandàBordel record – coming out December 2018 on Mannequin Vanity Records. Previously, the group has headlined major festival dates in the US (Crestone Music Festival, SD Gypsyfest ect), and they have several big album release shows in the works for Dec 2018.

FULL BIO:
This franco-american supergroup has roots back in 2011, when Jake Skolnick from The Plastic Revolution (& QUEL BORDEL!) went to France to play an acoustic tour and he met the Mega Volts (now BandàpArt). The then 26 year-old Jake met a barely legal guitarist (Bastien) in Montpellier to take the bus over to Bedarieux; where Jake was properly welcomed into the Pohoski household — after performing an impromtu audition on the streets on Bedarieux. Over the next two days they played a party in the center of Bedarieux and BandàpArt shared their slot at Festa*Zik in Les Aires, and they all instantly became friends for life. While the first tour was small in that they only shared two dates, the impact was powerful; and the two formed a friendship that would continue for years to come
In 2012 BandàpArt brought The Plastic Revolution to France and then BandàpArt came to the US. Together they toured the Southwestern US playing many notable venues including Six Flags Over Texas (Arlington, TX) & BandàpArt started their festival Coin De La Vigne that year and also recorded their debut record with Mannequin Vanity Records. The following year the touring package graduated to bigger/better shows and festivals — and with the launch of QUEL BORDEL! in 2013 the “supergroup” added members and finally a name in 2014. This marks the official beginning of the name: BandàBordel. Further legitimizing the group were headlining festival slots at: SD Gypsyfest (San Diego, CA), Crestone Music Festival (Crestone, CO), Sea World’s Seven Sea’s Festival (San Diego, CA) in the US and Festibaloche (France), Festival Coin De La Vigne (France) & Highmatland Festival (Germany).
